STATE CHAMPIONS AGAIN!

TEAM 7 Students #1 Middle School Team in the STATE

April 30 -- Once again TEAM 7 students swept their region to take 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd place in The Stock Market Game^TM this spring.  On the state level, they were the #1 middle school team and defeated all but one high school team. 10,000 students on over 3,700 teams from across the state participated in the game. 

TEAM 7 has less than one percent of the teams in the game and statistically, should win only once every one hundred years! Yet TEAM 7 students have won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd AGAINST HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE STATE 17 TIMES IN 18 YEARS!  

Mr. Peel, TEAM 7 Economics coach for each of the victories, attributed the team's continued success to the ITASCA COMMUNITY. "TEAM 7 Students helped to edit the book I wrote, 'Greenstuff' Economics: The Money Book, Parents added comments, and Senior Bank Executives from Itasca Bank & Trust Co. helped teach the class. That's a winning combination", he said.

Summer 2008 - Itasca reworked it's website, which broke a bunch of links on our school website, which broke hundreds of Links
on my Seven websites. I'm still trying to find them all !   Please let me know when you find (another) broken link.
