About Our Teachers

Team 6 Teachers have 80+ years combined experience in helping 6th graders reach their potential. While many "experts" view 6th grade as the most "challenging" year in public school education, Team 6 teachers view it as a pivotal point AND the most Rewarding Year!

Team 6 teachers have enjoyed guiding our students to numerous awards: Illinois STATE CHAMPIONS in the Stock Market Game^TM  -  first, second, or third  18 times in 20 years (Mr. Peel), Math Team Championships, Undefeated Basketball Seasons (Mr. Poremba), consistently high ISAT scores, and numerous other accomplishments.
